Sydney's trail map includes Manly Dam in the north to Wylde MTB Park near Holsworthy, with the Royal National Park's fire trails in between. The right mountain bike depends on what you actually ride: cross-country flow trails reward a light hardtail with fast tyres, technical descents need a full-suspension trail bike with a slacker head angle, and a long shuttle day at Thredbo wants an enduro setup. We stock Trek and Orbea across the line.

E-MTB has shifted the conversation entirely in the last five years. If you're riding mostly fire trails or commuting between technical bits, a 60–90Nm motor with a 600Wh+ battery turns a 25km day into something you can do mid-week after work. Trek Rail and Orbea Wild are both worth a look before you decide between mid-tier acoustic and entry-tier electric.
