Terms of service

Last updated 17 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the MC Cyclery website. By accessing or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms by posting a new version here; continued use means you accept the change.

Using this website

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's consent. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse it — including not transmitting malware, not attempting to breach or circumvent its security, and not scraping, harvesting, or collecting data or other people's personal information from it. We may refuse access, or withdraw the site or any part of it, at any time.

Products, pricing & availability

We sell in store, not online. Product listings on this site are a guide to what we generally stock — they are not an offer to sell online, and they don't reflect live pricing or stock. Prices, specifications, and availability can change at any time without notice; please confirm current pricing and availability with us in store or by phone before relying on them. In-store purchases are covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Bookings & membership

Workshop, bike-fit, and hire bookings, and MC Velo membership, are handled through third-party providers (such as HubTiger and Stripe) embedded in or linked from this site, subject to each provider's own terms and privacy policy. We don't collect or store your payment-card details — see our Privacy Policy.

Accuracy of information

Content on this site is provided for general information only and may contain errors, omissions, or out-of-date material (including older posts). We may change the content at any time but aren't obliged to update it. Any reliance you place on the material is at your own risk.

Third-party links & embedded tools

The site links to, and embeds tools from, third parties we don't control (for example booking widgets and external links). We provide these "as is", don't endorse them, and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Review their terms and policies before using them.

Your submissions

If you send us enquiries, chat messages, feedback, ideas, or other material, you're responsible for them and confirm they're lawful and don't infringe anyone's rights. We may use, store, and act on them to respond to you and run our business, and we're under no obligation to keep them confidential or to pay for them. Don't submit false, misleading, unlawful, or malicious content, or impersonate anyone.

Personal information

Any personal information you provide through the site is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The site and its content — text, images, branding, logos, and design — belong to MC Cyclery or our licensors. You may not reproduce, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of it without our written permission.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MC Cyclery and its people won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded; where our liability can be limited, it's limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify MC Cyclery and its people against any claim arising from your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Termination

These terms apply while you use the site. We may withdraw your access at any time if we believe you've breached them. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Severability & entire agreement

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. These terms, with the policies referenced here, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
