2020 Bondi2Berry – Saturday 12 September

Bondi2Berry was founded in 2016 by good mates of MC, Nick and Pierre, who wanted to organise a bike ride to raise awareness of dementia. Both have first hand experience with the disease. Nick’s grandmothers passed away after suffering from dementia, and Nick’s father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2011. Pierre’s mother was diagnosed in 2015 and sadly passed away in 2019. Their personal experiences, as well as those of many of their close friends, prompted these guys to use their passion for cycling to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for the terrible disease.

A challenging yet beautiful ride, 155km in distance, and elevation of 1,800m. Six groups of 20 riders starting from the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club, riding out of the Eastern Suburbs and travelling through parts of the Royal National Park to Wollongong, Kiama and finishing in Berry on the NSW south coast. Check out the Bondi2Berry route here.

All riders will receive a unique Bondi2Berry event jersey and an event pack with other great products. Bike mechanics and nutrition on course, and a free BBQ at the finish line in Berry.

Registration for 2020 will open on Saturday on Saturday 7 March. Get in quick, this will sell out.
