What to do after an accident

What do you do when your bike gets wrecked in a collision with a motor vehicle? You get to build another bike (whoo hoo!). MCC’s Grant managed to save his wheelset but the rest is brand spankin new. The trusty Surly Steamroller frame was a no brainer, the Brooks saddle and grips add a personal touch. Is she hot or is she hot?!

Hi to all that have come in from seeing our little touring advertisement in the latest issue of Australian Cyclist.
We’ve been pushing the idea of touring nations on a bicycle for some time now and we’ve gotten a fair few people off on the road.

Surlies (yes plural!) giveaway

A few months ago we decided that we’d sponsor the Sydney Bicycle Film Festival. It was decided, in conjunction with Dirtworks, that we do something epic and give away a free Surly Steamroller. Funny then that on the giveaway night we gave out 2 of them!!! What’s the story behind it? Well, the original winner that was drawn out of a hat wasn’t present at the film session, the hungry crowd boo’ed and wanted someone that was there, live, to win the Surly, so we kept on drawing names until someone in the audience was called out.
So congratulations to both Edward Illy and Lizzie Allen on each winning a Surly Steamroller at the Bicycle Film Festival!!! She’s a lovely bike. Please treat her nice!
